ABEA’s Teen eBike Training program gives school districts a turnkey way to address one of the fastest-growing student transportation and safety challenges facing schools today. Designed specifically for middle- and high-school students, the course teaches real-world roadway awareness, crash avoidance, bike path etiquette, defensive riding strategies, and responsible eBike operation through short, engaging video lessons, graphics, quizzes, and assessments.

Unlike basic bicycle safety programs, Teen eBike Training focuses on the complex traffic awareness, judgment, predictive reasoning, and decision-making skills required to safely operate fast, heavy electric bicycles in real traffic environments. The course was developed by bicycling education professionals with decades of experience teaching roadway safety and defensive cycling techniques.
